a butterfly lost its way through an evening crowd of returning people on and along their vehicles

and then it stops midair, takes a U-turn and hits a bus' windshield. The wipers remove the butterfly's splattered body, and throw it down onto the still-hot tar road, where a couple of kids crossing the road crush it's mortal remains beneath their bata shoes.
